Two Clinical Pathways — Same Ownership
Team Lead Clinician
Guide and support a defined clinical team.

The Team Lead Model offers Occupational Therapist (OTRs) and Physical Therapist (DPTs, PTs ) a structured, supported leadership pathway designed for clinicians who want expanded responsibility without isolated or unsustainable oversight. Team Leads guide a defined team that may include COTAs or PTAs, assigned caseload clinicians, and additional support roles as the department continues to grow. In this role, the clinician maintains overall clinical direction while strengthening service quality through supervision and mentorship of assistants, coordination of team scheduling, documentation review and alignment, treatment planning consistency, clinical oversight, and regulatory compliance. This model represents hands-on, collaborative clinical leadership—never isolated liability.
Caseload Clinician
Focus fully on direct clinical care with no supervisory duties.

The Caseload Clinician Pathway is designed for Occupational Therapist (OTRs) and Physical Therapist (DPTs, PT) who prefer to focus exclusively on direct treatment while still maintaining full clinical ownership of their caseload. This role allows clinicians to lead their cases without any supervisory responsibilities, supported by a clear structure and defined systems that ensure efficiency and consistency. It offers the autonomy to practice at a high clinical level while providing the reassurance of strong organizational support. In this pathway, leadership remains available as an option—not an expectation.

Full Clinical Ownership In Every Role
At Treehouse, Full Clinical Ownership is foundational to every Occupational Therapist (OTR) and Physical Therapist (DPT , PT) role. Each clinician owns responsibility for their assigned clients, conducts evaluations, and directs treatment planning while also overseeing documentation quality, ensuring ethical and regulatory compliance, and maintaining direct communication with families and interdisciplinary partners. Your caseload functions within a collaborative structure rather than being split across multiple managers — meaning you lead your cases, and the system supports you every step of the way.
